Privacy Policy
Last updated: 11/06/2026
The Organised Producer ("we", "our", "us") operates a release calendar application for DJs and producers. We are based in the United Kingdom and this Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
1. Who we are
The data controller for this service is Jonezy, based in the United Kingdom. You can contact us at jonezymusicmail@gmail.com with any privacy questions or to exercise your rights.
2. What personal data we collect
- Account information: your email address and a securely hashed password (or, if you sign in with Google, your Google account email and identifier).
- Calendar content: the release, show, studio and promo entries you create, including titles, dates, venues, genres and notes.
- Technical data: basic logs such as IP address, browser type, device information, and timestamps, used to operate and secure the service.
- Usage data: aggregated, non-identifying analytics about how the service is used.
3. Why we collect it and our legal basis
- To provide the service (performance of a contract) — creating your account, storing your calendar entries, and generating AI suggestions.
- To keep the service secure (legitimate interests) — preventing abuse, debugging issues and protecting accounts.
- To improve the product (legitimate interests) — understanding which features are used through anonymous analytics.
- To comply with legal obligations where required.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share limited data with trusted service providers ("processors") who help us operate the application — for example, our hosting provider, database and authentication provider, and AI providers that generate event suggestions. These providers act under contract and only process your data on our instructions.
5. International transfers
Some of our service providers may process data outside the UK. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. How long we keep your data
We keep your account data and calendar entries for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain certain records for legal or security reasons. Anonymous analytics may be kept indefinitely.
7. Your rights under UK GDPR
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Request deletion of your account and personal data.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Request portability of the data you have provided.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
- Lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
You can exercise these rights from your Contact page, or for logged-in users, directly via your Account Settings. We will respond within one month.
8. Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and row-level security on our database. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to reduce risk.
9. Children
This service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above will reflect any changes. Significant changes will be communicated through the application.
